The Frozen Light is a solo project visual novel. It is based entirely off of real life events, and reflects the author's experiences falling in love with someone inside of a random anime gacha game server chat. 

Story:
Play as a hopeless romantic who constantly questions his actions. By complete chance, you form connections inside of a server chat and begin talking to the regulars. However, one person begins to stand out from the rest, and you notice yourself falling for them. But for some reason, you feel hesitation from within. Why?

Through your choices, you can choose to self-reflect and open yourself up to your inner thoughts, past experiences, and more. But surely things will work out, it's a love story after all.

... Right?

Game Description:
The Frozen Light is my first visual novel, and is entirely a solo project. Featuring artwork and characters drawn by myself, and certain songs performed by myself.  It contains royalty-free elements, as well as music and song covers from copyrighted material. While there is only one ending, the dialogue throughout the story and the outcome will be fairly different based on your choices.

• Utilising PhoneScript from Nighten (https://nighten.itch.io/renpy-simple-messaging-system-for-mobile-game), the story unfolds from within a live server chat.

• Around 4-5 hours playtime
• 5-6 months development time
